Job description

The PT Pet Waste Removal Tech plays a vital role in maintaining clean and sanitary residential and commercial properties by efficiently removing pet waste. This position requires attention to detail, communication skills, and a positive attitude to represent Mighty Scoopers professionally while delivering excellent service.

Pay

Pay ranges $18 to $25. You don't get paid hourly but by number of properties you complete. Pay amount is determined by # of properties, how large the properties are, # of dogs per property, how close each appointment is, etc. All this is taken together which comes out to be $18 - $25 an hour. The more properties you do, the higher the pay rate. We offer commission and year-end bonuses. As we grow more benefits will be added.

Responsibilities

  • Remove pet waste from residential and commercial properties
  • Walk properties carefully and thoroughly while using provided tools to scoop pet waste
  • Requires constant mobility including walking, stooping, bending, looking, probing, picking up heavy trash bags to be dumped in dumpster
  • Sanitize equipment between visits to ensure hygiene
  • Communicate professionally with customers as needed
  • Drive your route efficiently and stay on schedule
  • Work in all weather conditions (hot and cold)
  • Must enjoy working outside and dealing with dogs that may be out in the yard.
  • Drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Excellent vision and attention to detail required and must be able to follow directions
  • Must be a "morning person". We start early to beat the heat and traffic. (We do have afternoon shifts as well)
  • Good driver. Must have reliable transportation.
  • MUST BE DEPENDABLE
  • Represent Mighty Scoopers with a positive attitude
  • Experience with dogs preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years preferred, but open to hire Entry-level experience in pet waste removal as well.
