Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Specialist to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset management industry and will be responsible for managing IT assets, including shipping, receiving, scheduling e-waste, working with third-party vendors, inventory management, cycle counting, and creating documentation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of IT assets, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
  • E-Waste Management: Schedule and coordinate the disposal of electronic waste in compliance with industry best practices and environmental regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to procure, maintain, and dispose of IT assets.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software, using asset management tools.
  • Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Best Practices: Implement and adhere to industry best practices for asset management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.

Qualifications:
