Description

We are seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic Apprentice to work directly with our Lead Diesel Mechanic. This is an entry-level, hands-on position ideal for someone looking to build a career in diesel mechanics. The right candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.


Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Diesel Mechanic with daily maintenance and repairs
  • Learn to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
  • Perform basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, and tankers
  • Assist with inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (diesel engine experience preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of air brake systems is a plus
  • Experience working on trailers and tankers is a plus
  • Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well with others and follow direction
