Job description

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety by following all environmental, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.
  • Use a consultative and insight-led sales approach to help customers understand waste management challenges and recommend suitable Clean Harbors solutions.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across environmental, operations, and compliance teams, while helping build internal alignment for service decisions.
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to grow profitable business across multi-site waste management accounts.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through contract management, service follow-ups, performance reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and close profitable environmental services contracts with senior operations and EHS decision-makers.
  • Assess waste streams, regulatory requirements, account profitability, pricing, and margins to ensure the right service fit and business growth.
  • Prospect and develop new Technical Services accounts through targeted account analysis and waste stream evaluation.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of strong B2B sales experience, preferably in complex sales environments.
  • Must reside within the assigned sales territory.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with environmental services, operations, and compliance stakeholders; experience closing profitable waste management contracts is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in strategic selling, business analysis, project planning, and account management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple and clear manner.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is highly preferred.
