Title: Bakery Staff - PM ( Dept: Bakery Report to: Head Baker Shift: The shift range is 10:00AM - 10:00PM. Wage: This position pays $17.50 - $19.00, depending on experience. Our bakery bakes from scratch', without GMOs, and pride ourselves on using the best American-grown organic flours, non-GMO cooking oils, real diary, and fairly traded nuts and fruits

Wherever possible, we source from regional family farms and granaries and employee-owned collectives.This position is central to our high-volume bakery program, which sells tens of thousands of fresh-baked pies, quick breads and pastries during our ten-month season. Our bakery utilizes season produce straight from the wash house and highlights their freshness and quality in many changing items such as scones, biscuits, cookies and bars. Preciseness, cleanliness and time organization is a must especially throughout bakery preparations such as cutting butter, rotating products, shredding zucchini or wrapping products air tightly

In our daily work, we are: Measuring, mixing, preparing and baking pies, pastries and other recipes. Wrapping products for the farmstand. Arranging the Farmstand displays in an appealing manner.

Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for daily Farmstand opening. Maintaining accurate food inventories. Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures.

Rotating stock items as per established procedures. Restocking bakery for subsequent shifts. Ensuring that the prep area and bakery are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
