Position Objective
The Wash Bay Laborer is responsible for washing and cleaning rental equipment, maintaining the wash bay, yard, and facility, and performing basic maintenance tasks. This position may also assist Service Technicians as needed.
Job Responsibilities
  • Check rental equipment in and out as needed.
  • Review proper equipment startup and shutdown procedures with customers.
  • Wash and clean trucks, equipment, and machinery.
  • Remove grease, paint, dirt, and accumulated material from equipment and trucks.
  • Assist Service Technicians by carrying parts, tools, and materials and helping with basic shop tasks.
  • Perform cleaning and sweep-up duties throughout the shop.
  • Perform routine oiling and greasing of maintenance shop equipment.
  • Assist with building maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain clean facilities, yard, and building grounds.
  • Inspect safety equipment and request needed repairs.
  • Operate manual and power tools.
  • Assist with basic mechanical equipment repairs.
  • Deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate manual and power tools.
