Location Description
The Eugene, Oregon plant produces both organic and non-organic granola, with annual production of up to 52 million pounds. The site supports a team of more than 200 manufacturing and support employees and plays an important role in supplying private label granola products across the U.S.

Responsibilities
Wage: $20+/hour depending on experience
Shift: 5:45a-2:30p
Our Post Consumer Brands Warehouse Leads play a valuable role in directing shift operations of our Warehouse teams. While overseeing the movement of raw materials and finished goods within and between facility locations and customer trucks; Leads are accountable for ensuring team training and that established policies, procedures, and standards in the areas of people safety, food safety, allergen control, FIFO, cycle counting, and GMPs are followed. The Warehouse Lead is highly focused on individual development, growth, and collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures people safety is a top priority by setting the example and holding team members accountable to a safety first culture.
  • Establishes a positive and collaborative team culture that works closely with cross department partners.
  • Pre-shift planning, staffing, and communication of the day to day tasks and initiatives.
  • Performs daily shift audits of Inventory movements, Allergen Controls, and GMP compliances.
  • Reviews work orders of kits (Warehouse) and/or shipments (DC) to ensure (FIFO) procedures are being followed.
  • Ensures the unloading of raw materials and/or kits from trucks into the plant locations and assigns to the appropriate storage areas. For distribution center positions, ensures the unloading of finished goods and assigns to the appropriate area.
  • In support of inventory accuracy, ensures DSI barcode transactions are completed according to policies and procedures. Follows up with the team on empty location checks and performs cycle counts to validate expected and actual inventory levels.
  • Ensures daily powered industrial truck inspections (PIT) are completed according to established policies and procedures; submits issues to the warehouse administrator to ensure proper and timely repairs
  • Works with the company maintenance work order system to input facility repair requests.
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
  • 1+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, and/or logistics.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Previous food manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience with powered industrial trucks (PIT)
  • Previous experience with warehouse management systems (scanners, etc.)
  • Previous experience with ERP system (JDE strongly preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a leadership level position.

Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Must be able to lift to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to reach, grasp, and make fast, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to perform work at or above shoulder height for short periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend, stretch, twist, and/or reach throughout shift.
  • Must be able to distinguish between sounds, such as forklift horns, fire alarms, machine signals, etc.
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in dusty environments.
