Job description

Warehouse Assistant

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Pray Rate $20.00 – $22.00 per hour D.O.E
Location: Gresham, OR


We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker capable of stepping into a leadership capacity and assisting with managerial responsibilities when the Warehouse Manager is out of the office.


Key Responsibilities

·        Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull, stock, pick, pack, and palletize customer orders.

·        Logistics & Material Handling: Safely load and unload freight trucks using both stand-up and sit-down forklift equipment (including stock pickers).

·        Inventory Management: Maintain strict inventory control and organize warehouse stock utilizing lift equipment.

·        Customer Service Representative (CSR) by contacting freight carriers and composing professional email communications to customers.

·        Serve as the primary point of contact and manage daily warehouse operations when the Warehouse Manager is off-site.


Qualifications & Experience

·        Strong computer skills are required; experience navigating multiple distinct software programs is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel is highly preferred.

·        Proven experience safely operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts (stock pickers).

·        Ability to consistently lift and maneuver cartons weighing up to 50 lbs. in a fast-paced setting.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong eye for detail and superior multitasking capabilities.
