Job Title: Material Handler

Pay Rate: $23.88/HR

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7AM-8AM Start Time

Job Description

The Material Handler receives, moves, and organizes materials, equipment, and server racks while supporting efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations. This role maintains accurate inventory records using digital tools and warehouse management systems, and helps ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and transport materials, equipment, and server racks to designated warehouse locations.
  • Process inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, booking deliveries, picking, packing, dispatching, unboxing, and re-boxing activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking materials, performing inventory counts, and updating documentation in a timely and precise manner.
  • Use digital tools and warehouse management systems to enter, update, and maintain inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support receipt, shipment, and task-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Follow 5S, quality, and safety standards to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Handle general labor and material handling tasks, including the use of RF scanners and other warehouse tools as needed.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics and operational goals.

Essential Skills

  • Experience performing general labor and material handling tasks in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to receive, pick, pack, and handle inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the use of laptops and handheld devices such as smartphones.
  • Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) to enter, update, and maintain inventory, shipping, and receiving records.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation.
  • Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to following safety, quality, and 5S standards in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience operating forklifts, electric tugs, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous experience in receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors regarding shipments and warehouse tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
