Job description

Kishigo, a leader in safety gear and a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Warehouse Worker (Shipping) who will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Established in 1971, Kishigo is the authority in high-visibility safety, including vests, pants, jackets, masks, flame resistant apparel, and accessories.
Shift: Monday - Friday,

Responsibilities:
  • Stage and ship parts, equipment and other miscellaneous items as needed
  • Prepare appropriate paperwork for all outbound freight
  • Utilize forklift to load trucks
  • Ensure trailers are properly docked for loading and unloading
  • Inspect forklifts/reach truck daily for proper compliance to operational and safety standards
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
  • Warehouse experience is preferred, but not required
  • Lift heavy objects (up to 60 - 75 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations for the entire shift
  • Overtime will be required based on business needs
  • Must have basic math skills; and be computer savvy
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job without accommodation

Kishigo California salary range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience, education and geographic location.
