Job description

Warehouse Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company, departmental, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks, ensuring FIFO process is followed.
  • Decant and/or prepare material as required for each production line.
  • Stocks the production lines, using the proper equipment, such as a tugger or walk behind. Must deliver the right amount of parts to the line at the right time.
  • Removes trash from the materials area and production lines. Loads cardboard and plastic into the compactors.
  • Assists with inventory control functions of the on-site and off-site warehouses, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Maintains lot traceability, as required.
  • Supports training, as required.
  • Any other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Formal qualifications required:

Essential

High School Diploma required

Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Two to five years experience in warehouse operations and fork lift experience.

Desirable

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks

Detail conscious

Good computer skills
