Job description

Job Summary 

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all warehouse personnel. It is the Warehouse. Supervisor’s responsibility to ensure all inventory procedures, vehicle maintenance procedures, manufacturing procedures, and delivery procedures are carried out in a manner to exceed customer expectations and maximize company profitability.

Essential Job Functions

  • Expected work hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Thursday. 7:00am-11:00am on Friday. *longer hours are sometimes required
  • Supervise warehouse employees.
  • Communicate weekly to Service Manager on warehouse performance: staffing levels, inventory issues, 
  • project initiatives, customer orders, vehicle/building maintenance, customer issues, etc.
  • Ensure all service orders and delivery orders are completed each day according to schedules and emergency needs.
  • Ensure all required forms and paperwork are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and are submitted to administration.
  • Keep up with order tracking and provide feedback to administration and sales as to order status and reconciliation of shipments received.
  • Oversee shipment check-in procedure.
  • Coordinate all out-bound freight, and schedules/sequences delivery truck.
  • Assist walk-in customers with needs to exceed their expectations.
  • Track vehicle maintenance and coordinate necessary service/repairs on all fleet vehicles.
  • Assist service department with Daily Check-in procedure.
  • Keep warehouse area safe, clean, and organized.
  • Keep tools/equipment clean, maintained, and in good repair. 

Minimum Requirements 

High school diploma or equivalent, 2 years warehouse experience preferred, valid driver’s license.

Abilities Required 

Able to lift 50lbs. without assistance, read and write, basic math skills, operate machinery, hand tools and mobile equipment (forklift, pallet jack, rolling ladder) safely, is able to stand 90% of time, climb stairs repeatedly, have computer and phone knowledge, pass random drug screens.
