Warehouse Associate Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate at Davis Cartage Co., you will play an important role in supporting daily warehouse, shipping, and distribution operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Picking customer orders accurately

• Packing products for shipment

• Preparing outbound freight for delivery

• Operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely

• Wrapping, labeling, and staging pallets

• Loading and unloading freight trucks

• Using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems

• Performing daily forklift and equipment safety inspections

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse

• Reporting inventory discrepancies or damaged freight

• Assisting with shipping, receiving, and warehouse logistics

• Following company safety procedures and warehouse best practices

This is a physically active warehouse position in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

Warehouse Job Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment

• Basic computer and RF scanner experience

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely

• Steel-toed boots required

• Strong attendance and dependability

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Willingness to complete Hazardous Materials training

Forklift certification training is available for qualified candidates.

Compensation and Schedule

• $17.00 – $19.00 per hour based on experience

• Full-time warehouse position

• Monday through Friday

• 1st Shift

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
