Our Shipping/warehouse employees are instrumental in delivering quality service to our customers. You will receive thorough training in our shipping process, which requires exceptional accuracy and detail. The Pond Guy has a family dynamic that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible. 

Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include. 

  • Complete daily picking, packing, and shipping goals in a timely manner 
  • Accurately record all product information and movement through the proper use of scanning equipment and tracking systems 
  • Operate all equipment safely and productively while following company guidelines and safety practices 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment 
  • Cross-training in other areas of the distribution center, including receiving incoming packages, marketplace orders, and motor freight orders 
  • Cross-training product assembly  

Skill Set 
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following knowledge and skills: 

  • Shipping and assembly experiences are a plus 
  • Organized and detail-oriented  
  • Beginner to intermediate-level computer proficiency  
  • Ability to follow procedures methodically 
  • Manual dexterity for working with small components 
  • Position involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 40lb and handling packages up to 150lb  
  • Standing and stooping for long periods of time may be required 

This position requires manual dexterity for working with small components, ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time, bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and managing packages up to 150 lbs as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time.  

We need a Shipping team member with a positive attitude that wants to become an expert.  You’ll offer exceptional customer service by taking the time to follow the process and do things the right way. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks.

Availability & Compensation 
This is a full-time hourly position starting at $20/hour. The typical schedule is 8:30 am - 5:00pm., Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities on Saturdays may be available.
