Job description

We are looking a dedicated shipping & Receiving/Assembly Clerk to handle all shipping, receiving, and general assembling processes.
Job Description:

  • Unload inbound freight (includes raw materials, packaging components, non-inventory items).
  • Perform Receiving using our computer system to generate receiving papers.
  • Distributing received items to stock rooms and/or production departments.
  • Parts Picking & Job Kitting to supply components and materials for assembly & for packing outbound shipments.
  • Packing in a manner that ensures items arrive at the destination undamaged.
  • Shipping products via UPS, FedEx & common freight carriers.
  • Perform Cycle Counting to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks (e.g. workstation & warehouse clean up, bin relocation, product consolidation) to maintain neat and clean warehouse. Stock incoming materials in correct bin locations.
  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms to assemble component parts or pieces. Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in the field.
  • ERP and MS Office Suite knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player.
