Client Overview
Our client is a growing, tight-knit company in the Scotch Plains, NJ, area that is seeking a Temporary Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support their stockroom and warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, reliable, and enjoys working in a smaller team environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$18/hr
Position Overview
The Temporary Shipping/Receiving Clerk will support light stockroom operations, including picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and inventory organization. This is a 3-month assignment in a small, friendly team environment, ideal for someone with 1 - 2 years of warehouse or stockroom experience who is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities Of The Temporary Shipping/Receiving Clerk
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Receive incoming orders and organize inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
  • Assist with shipping, labeling, and packing materials.
  • Keep the stockroom clean, organized, and efficient.
  • Support occasional customer order pickups or walk-in customers as needed.
Required Experience/Skills For The Temporary Shipping/Receiving Clerk
  • 1 - 2 years of warehouse, stockroom, picking/packing, or receiving experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
