Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe loading, unloading, receiving, staging, and movement of freight within the facility and loading areas. This role requires operating warehouse equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring freight is handled efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling both refrigerated and dry freight.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking warehouse professional who can support freight handling operations, operate warehouse equipment safely, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This individual will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse flow while ensuring safety and accuracy in all daily operations.

  • Load, unload, receive, and stage inbound and outbound freight accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect freight for damages, verify counts, and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse tools and equipment safely.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse and office teams to ensure smooth freight movement and workflow.
  • Support inventory accuracy, proper freight placement, and timely shipment processing.

What You Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience working in warehouse, freight handling, shipping/receiving, or logistics environments preferred

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Strong attention to detail, reliability, time management, and communication skills

Ability to lift heavy freight and work in varying warehouse temperatures

Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and safe material handling practices

Experience within transportation, logistics, freight, or warehouse operations industries preferred

Base Pay Range: $20 to $23 hourly
