WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Pharmacy Support Clerk I (Warehouse Inventory & Fulfillment)

The Pharmacy Support Clerk I supports overall pharmacy operations through shipping, inventory, and/or production functions.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

This is a full-time, onsite position located in McDonough, GA. This position requires 40 hours per week, typically scheduled Monday-Friday, between our operating hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm ET with a rotating Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm ET.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform functions related to shipping prescriptions including system support, workflow management, and replenishment of work stations

  • Fill and ship over-the-counter items

  • Provide clerical support for the pharmacy department, including but not limited to making boxes and stocking workflow stations

  • Assist with building compliance units for top veterinary care products (flea, tick, heartworm preventatives) from bulk packages into individual single-unit envelopes

  • Complete breakdown, labeling and pre-packaging to prepare products for prescription fulfillment

  • Participate in all scheduled Pharmacy inventories

  • Assist with movement of inventory, including lifting and relocating boxes of product

  • Replenish locations with pharmaceutical and controlled substances multiple times daily to ensure product availability for daily workflow

  • Use handheld scanning devices when storing and moving products

  • Utilize hand trucks, conveyors, and all packaging equipment with care

  • Assist in recycling efforts for the department

  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse work environment

  • Complete other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Possess strong team building skills; should be positive, respectful, and dependable

  • Must adhere to policies and procedures, be accountable, and be committed to continuous quality improvement

  • Team-oriented and works well with others, as well as, independently

  • Accuracy at repetitive tasks over long periods of time

  • Capacity to start and stop projects seamlessly, despite frequent interruptions, while maintaining attention to detail

  • Ability to learn and navigate new software programs

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of related warehouse or fulfillment work experience

  • Veterinary or Pharmaceutical experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Environment where dogs are present if in the office

  • Lifting and shelving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Ability to work standing on pressurized concrete for long periods of time

  • Occasionally stooping, lifting, and/or bending

  • Occasionally reaching overhead and using a step ladder
