Job description

The purpose of this job is to accurately and safely receive, store, and distribute material, tools,
equipment, and products within the company warehouse as well as picking, packing and scanning orders
for customer pickup and delivery, in order to increase operational efficiency, company profitability and
customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be
moved, pulled, picked and/or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated
areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined
sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Pull customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a
holding area or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate
method.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials or items received.
Complete internal forms and documents as instructed.
• Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of company equipment. Ensure the protection
of company property and all other assets.
• Ensure warehouse areas are clean, accessible, and safe for traffic.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Verbal and written communication skills (English Required).
• Warehouse and Forklift Experience
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/move and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck
