Vanguard Conversion and Fulfillment (VCF)
is a premier third-party converting and fulfillment company, providing custom slitting, laminating, sheeting, and printing solutions for B2B and B2C clients across various industries. With cutting-edge equipment and an expert team, we deliver scalable, cost-efficient solutions to enhance operations and product quality.
What you'll be doing:Responsible for the timely and qualitative completion of basic order fulfillment. Ensures that assigned order fulfillment functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, that quality, productivity and delivery standards are consistently met and/ or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete. Routine daily assignment of receiving shipments, rotation and distribution of inventories and product within the company.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving duties, unload / load trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders for processing.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Sort, place and move materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for foot/personnel traffic.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves/racking or relocating orders to a holding/bulk area or shipping area.
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Open and pack bales, crates, and other containers for shipping / receiving functions.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
  • Active participation in physical inventory.
  • Weighing and inventorying items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
