What does a warehouse racking installer do?

A Warehouse Racking Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and sometimes repairing storage rack systems in warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial facilities. Their job involves reading blueprints, measuring spaces, ensuring racks are securely anchored, and adhering to safety standards. Installers may work with various types of racking systems such as pallet racks, shelving, and mezzanines. Physical strength, attention to detail, and knowledge of tools and safety protocols are essential for this role.
