Job description

Role overview

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, distributing, preparing, and delivering materials, tools, equipment, and products in a warehouse environment.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
  • Drive a company vehicle to deliver materials to customers or obtain materials from company locations.
  • Operate a forklift or use a hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments.
  • Enter and maintain inventory records using a computer.
  • Compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.
  • Prepare order forms and sales contracts.
  • Write customer orders and instructions.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other locations.
  • Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records.

What youโ€™ll need

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of warehouse experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of forklift driving experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • English required.
  • Driverโ€™s license required.
  • Ability to pass a background screen, drug screen, and MVR check.
  • Ability to travel 3 days per week to company locations.
  • Ability to pull a goose-neck trailer.
  • Ability to commute to Schertz, TX.
