Position Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager experienced in Commercial Roofing to join Eskola, LLC's growing Gallatin, Tennessee branch! This individual will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations related to commercial roofing projects, managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, and ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will lead a team to optimize inventory control, streamline logistics, and support project requirements to drive overall operational success.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, and issuing roofing materials and supplies.
  • Manage and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and timely replenishment of stock.

Logistics and Distribution:

  • Coordinate the distribution of materials to job sites, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to align inventory levels with project demands.


Team Leadership and Staff Management:

  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity.


Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, local, and company-specific safety protocols within the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, maintain equipment inspections, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


Administrative and Reporting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and daily operations.
  • Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges for senior management.


Process Optimization:

  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to streamline processes and support data-driven decision-making.


Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within the commercial roofing industry is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, logistics, and staff in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.


Skills and Competencies:
