Job description

Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager

Jeffersonville, IN | Fort Worth, TX | Santa Fe Springs, CA | Rialto, CA

Henry North is partnered with a leading independent provider of warehouse storage solutions, searching for multiple Assistant Project Managers or Project Managers to join its growing team! Operating from seven strategically located facilities nationwide, this company delivers turnkey, cost-effective pallet racking and storage systems to warehouse operators across a wide range of industries.

The Project Manager will own project execution from inception through completion, working closely with sales, clients, engineering firms, and installation partners to keep every project on schedule, on budget, and to spec. This is a full project-lifecycle role with real ownership and a clear path to becoming a technical go-to resource within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full project lifecycle across a caseload of 15–20 concurrent projects, tracked in a project management platform.
  • Monitor permit progress and run project turnover meetings.
  • Validate quoted scope and preliminary engineering calculations.
  • Manage project schedules and hold installation partners accountable for quality and compliance.
  • Enter orders and issue purchase orders with proper documentation.
  • Analyze project blueprints and develop comprehensive material lists.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, clients, engineering firms, the permit team, and warehouse teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation for quality assurance and future reference.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project management or coordination experience (combination of experiences will be considered).
  • 2+ years of direct, hands-on experience with pallet racking installation/teardown or warehouse systems (candidates from an adjacent construction background — RFIs, design-build, deferred submittals — will also be considered).
  • AutoCAD or preliminary engineering exposure preferred.
  • NetSuite proficiency preferred; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable managing a high-volume, multi-project workload with minimal oversight.
  • A self-starter who communicates proactively and can speak to specific, real-world project challenges and how they solved them.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and collaborative — comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, in-office environment.

Compensation & Location

  • Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience. May have an opportunity to advance the salary for highly experienced candidates.
  • Benefits: 401(k) with company match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus voluntary plans.
  • Location: Rialto, CA, Santa Fe Springs, CA, Jeffersonville, IN, or Fort Worth, TX — on-site, full-time, 5 days per week.
