Role: Services Specialist – Customer Order & Fulfilment

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Duration: Contract

Pay Rate: $25/hr –28/hr (W2)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Services Specialist – Customer Order & Fulfilment to coordinate end-to-end delivery execution in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while collaborating with warehouse, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to resolve inventory constraints, shipping issues, and delivery exceptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize daily customer deliveries, including urgent and high-priority orders.
  • Create and process delivery orders in SAP after all fulfillment requirements are met.
  • Evaluate and coordinate product modifications before shipment.
  • Review inventory availability and collaborate with buyers on inventory and safety stock utilization.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shop teams to pull, stage, and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Manage shipping methods, schedules, and special customer shipping requirements.
  • Resolve logistics-related issues, including address changes, Incoterms, export documentation, and delivery exceptions.
  • Create, update, and maintain SAP system transactions accurately.
  • Process product classification requests and support invoicing activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time deliveries.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Customer Order Management, Order Fulfillment, or Logistics Coordination.
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, shipping, warehouse operations, and procurement processes.
  • Understanding of shipping documentation, export documentation, and Incoterms.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or operations teams.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning and safety stock management.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and system transactions.
