Description
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role uses system-generated pick tickets or assigned picking tasks to locate products, verify item details and quantities, and stage completed orders for the next step in the fulfillment or production process. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, consistent productivity, and a commitment to inventory accuracy and warehouse safety.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Review assigned pick tickets or system-generated picking tasks before beginning each order.
  • Locate and select the correct products using designated warehouse and bin locations.
  • Verify style, color, size, SKU, and quantity against the order requirements.
  • Maintain separation between orders throughout the picking process to prevent product mixing.
  • Identify and report missing inventory, incorrect bin locations, damaged products, or quantity discrepancies.
  • Place picked products in the designated cart, tote, pallet, or staging area.
  • Clearly identify completed orders and stage them for production, quality review, or shipping.
  • Follow order-priority instructions provided by warehouse leadership.
  • Handle products carefully to prevent damage during picking and movement.
  • Maintain accurate pick counts and confirm completion of assigned orders according to established procedures.
  • Return incorrectly picked or excess product to the designated inventory-control area for review.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe picking area, including carts and equipment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
  • Meet established standards for picking accuracy, productivity, and order completion.
  • Communicate inventory or order issues promptly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager.

Performance Expectations:
  • Maintain a high level of picking accuracy.
  • Complete assigned orders within established productivity expectations.
  • Properly identify and stage completed orders.
  • Promptly report inventory discrepancies and product damage.
  • Follow all safety, inventory-control, and order-handling procedures.

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate! This position is eligible for benefits after 30 days of service and our 401k plan after 90 days of service!
Requirements
Position Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or order-picking experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and accurately follow pick tickets, product labels, and warehouse location information.

  • Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse-management systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat, and climb warehouse ladders or step stools.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products or containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse carts, pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.
