Overview

As a Warehouse Associate with Room & Board, you take pride in working as part of a team to keep our customers' products flowing in and out of our 700,000+ sq. ft. distribution center. You'll enjoy the physical nature of the role, the camaraderie of the team, and a strong respect for the care and integrity of our American-made furniture products.
In this role, you'll work as part of a team to unload inbound deliveries from our vendor partners, making sure everything finds its spot in our facility. You'll also pick orders from racks, making sure products are securely wrapped and ready for their outbound adventure. You will also use a computerized inventory system to help keep our inventory on point and our inventory game strong!
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:30AM to 3:00PM with occasional paid overtime

Additional Requirements to be a Warehouse Associate:
  • While this is a physical role, it takes as much finesse as stamina to be effective. To successfully perform this role, you must be able to load/lift/carry heavy items (up to 100+ lbs.) while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. At times, loading/lifting/carrying larger items with a warehouse partner and appropriate support equipment as required.
  • Ability to operate dollies, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Prior experience preferred, but training provided.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights up to 24 feet, including the safe use of lift equipment (e.g., Order Picker, Rider Jack Truck, Standing Forklift) while maintaining balance and stability.
  • Pass all pre-employment tasks, including a physical abilities test.
  • Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.
