About the Role

A well-established manufacturing company in the Knoxville area is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is essential to keeping orders accurate and shipments moving on schedule in a fast-paced industrial equipment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Check and verify product labels for accuracy prior to shipment
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Pick orders accurately based on pick tickets or work orders
  • Pack orders securely, ensuring proper materials and packaging standards are followed
  • Maintain organized storage of parts, components, and finished goods
  • Report inventory shortages, damages, or labeling errors to supervisors
  • Support general warehouse organization and cleanliness (5S principles a plus)
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jack, hand truck) as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with labels and part numbers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for inventory/order systems (training provided)
