Job description

About the Role:

We have an opening for an Order Selector and are actively reviewing applications.

The Order Selector is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Order Selector is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. This position will require accuracy and efficiency in handling and selecting orders stored within the warehouse for individual customers, retail or direct markets accounts. This position is located in Northlake, IL.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Accurately select product as stated on the pick/customer list.

2. Responsible for ensuring proper quality standards are maintained, including all labels are appropriate and that all products are selected as accurately and efficiently as possible.

3. May be required to set up the line for selection; including retrieving items as needed.

4. Must be willing to work as a team and rotate through different positions.

5. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

6. Required to perform all duties in accordance with company SOPPs, SSOPs, and guidelines listed in the company handbook.

7. Expected to work safely, and efficiently

8. Responsible for line sanitation and ensuring proper clean up at the end of the shift

9. All packaging is filled properly and neatly to ensure customer satisfaction.

10. Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

12. Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.

About You:

Education or Experience

Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.

Physical

Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks.

Ability to work in cold environment (45 degrees).

Basic computer entry for inventory control purposes

Compensation Data

The base hourly rate for this position is $17.50 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
