Job description

Taylor Metal is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in picking and packing, inventory management, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. This role requires proficiency with computer systems, handheld scanners, and forklifts. The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of warehouse operations while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Shift: Dayshift, M-F (7:00am -3:30pm), OT as needed

Department: Accessories

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders in a timely manner.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organization of warehouse stock.
  • Operate a handheld scanner to track and update inventory and orders.
  • Use forklifts to move and organize products within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
  • Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
