Job description

Hahn Systems, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of industrial and construction supplies, in business since 1938.
This position will be responsible for Service Technician and Warehouse Associate duties.

Responsibility:
  • Ability to repair or replace defective equipment parts using the necessary tools and equipment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance for customers
  • Diagnose mechanical problems- ability to read schematics
  • Communicate parts needs to appropriate buyer
  • Shipping, Labeling, Receiving, and Put Aways
  • Shipping Transfers and Scheduling
  • Pulling Customer orders, Cycle Counting, and Inventory
  • General housekeeping and organization
  • Represent the company with integrity
  • All other responsibilities assigned
Skills and Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Max rebar, high pressure pneumatics and compressors, Lesnick, AMP, Hot melt applicators
  • Fluent Spanish (Not Required, but would be a plus)
  • Work within the Product Distribution Network, Purchase, Inventory Mgmt., Accounting and Operations
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
  • Creative Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, and Communication Skills
  • MS Office Applications amp; Internet Usage, Project/Outlook.
  • Forklift Experience/Certified Preferred

This role works in both warehouse and office environments. This role routinely uses repair equipment as well as standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds independently. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise.
