About the Role
As a Dock Associate at VOAMI, you'll be the backbone of our donation and warehouse operations. Your work ensures that donated items are processed efficiently and safely, helping us generate revenue that funds critical programs for individuals in need. Every item you handle helps someone in your community live a better life.
What You'll Do
  • Dock Operations:
    • Safely unload and load trucks
    • Inspect, clean, and prepare donated furniture and appliances for sale
    • Apply pricing and move items to the sales floor
    • Assist customers with unloading donations and loading purchases
    • Write donor receipts and maintain simple records
  • General Warehouse Support:
    • Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and salting affected areas
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Follow VOAMI policies and procedures
    • Complete tasks promptly to ensure efficient store operations
    • Other duties as assigned
