Capital Beer & Beverage is seeking a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and support a high-performing team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop Warehouse Associates and Lead Workers.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse staff to ensure adequate operational coverage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming inventory in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately maintained and stored in designated warehouse locations.
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment activities to support business operations.
  • Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory systems.
  • Ensure timely reporting of products billed to retailers but not shipped to support accurate credit memo processing.
  • Monitor warehouse loading productivity and overall operational performance.
  • Track and report warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and facility security metrics.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational expenses and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment and operational issues.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company operating procedures, safety policies, and operational standards.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Support warehouse security and loss prevention initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with state requirements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management software, and data-entry applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in both warehouse and office environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely navigate warehouse environments, including areas with moving equipment and palletized inventory.
