TRC Talent Solution is seeking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our client in Norcross, GA

Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Shift: M-F 6:30-3:00. Two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch
Pay rate: $19/hr
Dress code: Steel toed shoes required. Plain tee shirt with jeans or khaki shorts.

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. This role requires safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment, along with maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring all shipments are processed correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by the supervisor
    Count and verify items to ensure accurate quantities

  • Determine proper storage locations and allocate space within the warehouse

  • Move materials to designated storage areas and maintain organized inventory

  • Pick and prepare orders based on specific instructions and labeling requirements

  • Operate forklifts and order pickers (OP) to transport materials safely

  • Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of picked items

  • Stage and prepare shipments for delivery

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner

  • Identify and report damaged or defective items; process replacements as needed

  • Handle returns, including RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing

  • Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and include accurate documentation

  • Coordinate shipping methods, carriers, and pickup schedules

  • Verify shipment details, including quantities and identification numbers

  • Record shipment weights and applicable freight charges

  • Route materials to appropriate departments as needed

  • Label and prepare pallets for shipment

  • Perform daily forklift inspections and complete inspection reports

  • Process deliveries using the HUPAST system

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience required

  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

  • Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with technology
