Warehouse Associate

Metro Plumbing, Heating & Air
Pay: $17-$20 per hour

Metro Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support our daily warehouse operations.

This is a great entry-level position for someone looking to begin a career in the plumbing, HVAC, warehouse, or skilled trades industry. Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is reliable, organized, and ready to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
  • Stock parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Pull and prepare materials for plumbing and HVAC technicians.
  • Load and unload company vehicles.
  • Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Move pallets, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Keep warehouse shelves, aisles, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory counts.
  • Label and organize parts and materials.
  • Process returned or damaged materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse duties.
Qualifications
  • No previous warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required.
