Job description

Precision Door Service provides residential and commercial garage door service. With over 100 locations, our professional and certified technicians repair over 1000 garage doors everyday - nationwide. We also sell and install a wide selection of garage doors and garage door openers. We have been selected multiple years as Franchise Business Review Top 50 Franchises for Franchise Satisfaction.

Our franchise is locally owned and has been operated by the same person for over 22 years, We have three locations--the Upstate, the Henderson, Asheville NC area, and the Tri-Cities area in TN. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau in all of our locations. We are members of the Chambers of Commerce and even sponsor a bowling team. We are a small team that works closely together. We would like to make the right person a part of it.


This position is a combination of warehouse management and office support. It requires energy, attention to detail, excellent time management, excellent organization skills, physical strength, coordination, and flexibility. It also requires computer literacy and the ability to learn our software for office and warehouse management.


The warehouse manager:

  • Inventories trucks,
  • Restocks technicians, 
  • Manages deliveries. helps unload trucks,
  • Orders parts and doors, and
  • Assists in maintaining inventory and price book. 


Office personnel:

  • Answer phones
  • Schedule customer appointments 
  • Provide logistical support for technicians and handle some customer issues 
  • Perform other clerical tasks as needed 


The person who currently holds this position will be leaving in March and will be available to provide comprehensive training until then.


Qualifications:

  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Courteous and engaging demeanor
  • Comfortable with customers and working as a team.
  • Ability to work a 5 day 40 hour per week and possibly more when necessary 
  • Honesty and dependability
  • Willingness and ability to show up for work on a consistent basis 
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • A clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Sales and customer service experience helpful
  • Office software expertise
  • Proficient in Service Titan software a major plus!
