This energetic, organized, knowledgeable individual will assist our Warehouse Manager with supervision and leadership of an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure effective operations and efficient completion of projects.

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assists with hiring and training of team members
  • Oversees the daily workflow; oversee scheduling and assignments
  • Assists in performance evaluations. Ensuring on time and effective evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
  • Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks.
  • Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
  • Verifies outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
  • Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
  • Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
  • Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
  • Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
  • Orders new equipment as requested by management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Basic math skills sufficient to manage inventory, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures for organizing and identifying products and communicating with coworkers.
  • Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down up to 75 pounds.
  • Skill in operation of heavy equipment, including delivery vehicles, forklift, pallet jack, and order picker.
  • Strict attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree preferred.
  • At least five years of related work experience.
  • Direct experience in HVACR is preferred but not necessary.

Pay Range:

$60,000-$70,000/year.
