Job description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is responsible for managing inventory, receiving inbound shipments, fulfilling customer orders, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring inventory accuracy within our warehouse management system. The ideal candidate takes pride in running an efficient operation, leading by example, and maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately enter all incoming inventory into the warehouse management system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and freight companies.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and rotated as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment
  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and resolve receiving or shipping issues.
  • Train and supervise warehouse associates as the team grows.
  • Develop and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing, customer service, and management regarding inventory status and operational needs.
  • Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or warehouse software.
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory and maintain detailed records.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

  • Experience with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
