    Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00-5:30 pm. Occasionally, staying past 5:30 PM is required but this is the exception rather than the rule. Same goes for work on Sundays.


    Key role requirements:

    REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License and good driving record (5 years)

    REQUIRED: 5+ years of warehouse experience.

    REQUIRED: 3+ years in warehouse leadership.

    REQUIRED: Ability to stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for periods of time

    REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent

    PREFERRED: 2- or 4-year Warehouse Management degree

    Computer and Internet related skills (MS Office, Excel, Gmail, etc.)

    Able to work in a warehouse environment requiring physical labor throughout the day

    Must be a self-starter with good communication skills

    Must be efficient with meticulous attention to detail

    Ability to work without supervision once trained, self-disciplined

    Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and problem solve

    Ability to maintain a professional distance with co-workers to be an effective leader.

    Team/Scope of Responsibility: Warehouse size, inventory, direct reports, and volume vary by branch location.

    Key Responsibilities are:

    Daily operations leadership: Assign, direct, and verify warehouse/yard tasks; lead a brief morning huddle to set priorities, deadlines, and improvement actions.

    Inventory control and cycle counts: Perform monthly inventories with cycle counts, monitor tub stock and backstock, and consolidate damaged/extra items periodically.

    Stocking standards and organization: Ensure proper stocking/re-stocking per guidelines, accurate labels and lists, and that every item has a labeled home and is returned after use.

    Receiving and documentation: Properly check, notate, and submit packing slips, credit slips, and returns; ensure vendor credits are processed.

    Purchasing and replenishment: Order and source materials from vendors (including retail items), place orders to fill the warehouse, and pull inventory for assemblies and trims or verify accuracy.

    Vendor discrepancy management: Immediately notify purchasing of shortages/discrepancies, follow up with vendors for corrections, and close out issues promptly.

    Security and readiness: Keep warehouse, gate, and fuel pump secured throughout and at day's end; ensure the warehouse is ready for morning dispatch and that associates support the morning routine.

    Communication and continuous improvement: Communicate proactively with management, verify assistants' pulls, and personally execute 1-3 daily improvements to warehouse processes or inventory.
