Job description

Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, truck loading & unloading, order fulfillment, shipping, delivery coordination, and staff leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse while delivering exceptional service to our customers and protecting high-value inventory. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control, RMA processing.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
  • Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments with manufacturers and outbound deliveries with logistics partners.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and optimize storage for large luxury appliances.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse procedures that improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, and on-time deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, including forklifts and warehouse machinery.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, purchasing, and delivery teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse best practices.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in appliance, building products, furniture, or other large-item distribution.
  • Experience with ERP or WMS systems.
