Des Moines - Warehouse Manager
Warehouse Manager Needed!
Carroll Construction Supply is in need of a Warehouse Manager who will assist with daily supervision of Carroll Construction Supply's warehouse activities that include shipping, receiving & inventory management. Our warehouse people play a big role in our day-to-day operations as they work heavily with others to ensure the accuracy of loads and delivery of product is done right and on time. This person will use a forklift to assist with loading and/or supervising the loading of product onto trucks according to order specifications, verify the count of product loaded, and secure the truck after loading. This person will assist with the check-in process of delivery trucks as they arrive daily, unload inbound trucks, and preparing/submitting required paperwork to appropriate parties. Oversee inventory management/control and determine restocking needs based on inventory movement. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, inspecting equipment and assessing warehouse flow. Maintain strong working relationships with warehouse personnel as well as salesmen. Carroll is known as a fair, honest & team-oriented company and has recently become an employee-owned company that has grown to over 35 locations spread across 14 states.
