ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Oversee multiple warehouse departments; receiving, shipping, warehouse and maintenance operations
  • Excellent leadership skills including ability to set goals and motivate.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Good project management skills, including decision –making, problem solving and strategic planning abilities
  • Manage and enforce warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and goals.
  • Continuously look for improvements to operations.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Maintain standards cleanliness and security
  • Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and evaluate results.
  • Select, place, train, coach and motivate employees
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of work provided
  • Working with various departments to realize effectiveness and manage expectations

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 5 years previous warehouse manager experience
  • Knowledge in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work in outdoor elements
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
  • Must be able to pass a felony background check
