Warehouse Manager

Department: Warehouse

Compensation: $60,000 Salary + Quarterly Incentive Opportunity

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM with occasional after-hours/weekend support as needed

At Horne Heating and Air Conditioning, we believe great service starts behind the scenes. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations, fleet management, and inventory systems while supporting our field technicians and installation teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and takes pride in keeping teams equipped and prepared for success every day.

What You'll Do

Fleet Management

  • Oversee and manage the company fleet, including service vans, box trucks, and company-issued vehicles.s
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, ds including registrations, insurance, maintenance history, and vehicle assignments.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and manufacturer recalls
  • Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections and ensure fleet cleanliness and readiness.s
  • Support technicians with routing, inventory, and operational needs

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Manage truck stock inventory, including tools, equipment, parts, and materials
  • Oversee monthly service inventory swaps and restocking procedures
  • Maintain proper plumbing and installation inventory levels
  • Order warehouse supplies, equipment, and installation materials as needed
  • Ensure installation jobs are fully staged and prepared before scheduled install dates
  • Identify missing materials proactively to avoid project delays
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

Operational Coordination

  • Communicate daily with technicians regarding materials, parts, and job requirements
  • Coordinate with the Parts Coordinator and Install Coordinator on repairs, recalls, and project updates
  • Supervise warehouse assistants and parts runners to ensure accountability and efficiency
  • Assist with operational planning by anticipating inventory and project needs
  • Lead monthly warehouse team meetings and individual employee check-ins

What We're Looking For

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience in warehouse, fleet, or operations management
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience with inventory systems, purchasing, and vendor coordination
  • Proficiency with:
    • ServiceTitan
    • QuickBooks
    • Microsoft Teams & Outlook
    • Paylocity
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or home service operations preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Additional Knowledge & Training

  • Familiarity with fleet management and preventative maintenance programs
  • Understanding of customer accounts, invoices, estimates, and purchase orders
  • Knowledge of maintenance memberships and service plan structures preferred
  • Ability to create and track employee goals and performance expectations
