Description:

Makwa Global is seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Management Lead to oversee critical defense logistics and property accountability operations at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). In this Key Personnel role, you will direct a team of warehouse specialists and logistics professionals, ensuring the flawless receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of mission-critical materials, including hazardous, classified, and highly sensitive SUBSAFE / DSS-SOC certified components.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily warehouse operations encompassing receiving, storage, issuing, Care of Supply in Storage (COSIS), and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T).
  • Supervise, train, and schedule a team of 10+ logistics and warehouse personnel.
  • Lead strict physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies within the Navy ERP (SAP) system.
  • Ensure stringent chain-of-custody and quality control protocols are followed for Level 1 SUBSAFE and Deep Submergence Systems (DSS-SOC) materials.
  • Monitor Performance Requirements Summary Table (PRST) metrics to ensure 100% on-time delivery and zero-defect handling.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications (Must be clearly documented on resume):

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated warehouse experience performing materiel management functions (receipt, issue, COSIS, and inventory discrepancy reconciliation).
  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team of at least ten (10) warehouse employees.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD CAC/Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience working in DoD Systems Applications and Products (SAP), specifically Navy ERP, for warehouse management.
  • Previous experience handling SUBSAFE, LEVEL I, or DSS-SOC materials.
