Job description

Shift - Sunday- Wednesday 7pm-finish (typically 4-6am) this week, then on 11/26 working Sunday -Thursday 7pm -finish (typically 4-6am)
Location - 4500 Wickersham Dr College Park, GA 30337
Payrate - 19.00/hr.
Must have:
  • Own their own cold suits. Clothing layers is not an option. MUST BE A COLD SUIT.
  • Experience in/having worked in a Cold environment,
  • Experience operating a Standup reach truck
  • Has steel toe boots
  • 6 months minimum of order picking experience

Job description:
  • 0-3 Years of Experience
  • Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift
  • selecting the correct products from warehouse racking
  • labeling product using SOS label technology
  • palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned SOS unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.)

  • maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment.
  • including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
  • Must follow Sysco Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Sysco and by AIB (American Institute of Baking).
  • This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends.
  • Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard
  • working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment
  • meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
  • Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs. regularly.
  • Preferred requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reports to Night Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.
