Job description

Material Handler/Kitter - Seats Program (requires heavy lifting)
Location: Statesville, NC
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Regular Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Temporary Mandatory Overtime: Overtime is currently required for approximately the next month while production catches up.
  • Two weekdays per week until 4:00 PM
  • Saturdays from 6:30 AM-11:00 AM
  • If you cannot work Saturday, you must be available to stay until 6:00 PM during the week
  • Earlier start times may also be required depending on production needs
Job Duties
  • Pull, move, and stage automotive seats
  • Prepare and organize materials for production
  • Kit and stock parts in the appropriate work areas
  • Operate the baler when needed
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Complete other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Must be comfortable performing physical, labor-intensive work throughout the shift
  • Must be able to stand, bend, lift, pull, and move materials for extended periods
  • Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work the current mandatory overtime schedule
  • Previous warehouse, material-handling, or kitting experience is preferred
