Position Summary: As a Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Cycle Counter will ensure products are stored in the correct locations, investigate inventory variances, and update inventory records to support efficient warehouse operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the warehouse
  • Verify inventory quantities and ensure products are stored in the correct bin locations
  • Investigate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and quantity variances
  • Enter and maintain accurate inventory data within the warehouse management system
  • Correct inventory records and update system information as needed
  • Generate and review inventory reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with warehouse operations to resolve inventory-related issues
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and special inventory projects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • 1–2 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory auditing experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required
  • Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret inventory reports, customer orders, and safety procedures
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including data entry
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds 
  • Prolonged standing and walking on concrete surfaces 
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting 
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions 
  • Ability to safely climb on and off forklifts and warehouse equipment 
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling products
