Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Location: Brownstown, MI
Compensation: $19.00/hour plus $2.00/hour differential after 5:00 pm
Schedule: 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Role Summary:
Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire aWarehouseInventory Specialistfor ourBrownstown, MIlocation. In this role you will be responsible for all inventory control-related activities. As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you will develop the location's inventory management strategy, intending to control costs within budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize available working capital.

    • Paid $500 after 6 months, another $500 at 12 months of continuous, active full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory, including stock and stock locations.
  • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks
  • Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
  • Ensure that the good inward/ stock control department is well-organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and business goals
  • Ensure incoming products are received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required.
  • Provide routine management information on inventory performance
  • Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, and maximize working capital.

Do you have what it takes to succeed at KAO?

  • Are you 18 years of age or older?
  • Do you have at least 6 months of warehouse-related experience?
  • Can you lift products that weigh up to 75 lbs. consistently?
  • Are you comfortable working on your feet all day-standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders?
  • Are you able to work at heights up to 30 feet without issue?
  • Can you pay strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment?
  • Can we depend on you to show up on time and have a strong work ethic?
  • Are you willing to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (temperatures vary by season)?
  • Do you have forklift operator or other PIT equipment experience? (Preferred, but not required)
