In Short:

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our Hammond, Indiana warehouse facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, maintaining organization, and ensuring accurate inventory and shipping processes.

Essential Duties & Requirements:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers and customers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
  • Process shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse-related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified.
  • Basic computer skills, including inventory and shipping software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
