Job description

At IAP LLC, the Material Control Clerk is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, pulling parts for pick lists, assisting in shipping of parts for customers, and maintaining warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.
Essential Duties:
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Pull parts from pick lists for shops.
  • Receive parts and accessories and verify packing lists.
  • Note any damages, shortages, and overages on shipping documents.
  • Stock warehouse shelves and maintains accountability for accessory and repair parts.
  • Break down shipping containers and prepare containers for return in accordance with client instructions.
  • Assist in conducting inventories.
  • Maintain warehouse in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Shift: Volvo Clerks Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, All other Clerks Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year work experience with no more than 2 employers
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift certification
  • Working knowledge of business math
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with parts inventory control
  • Ability to communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Working Attributes:
  • Lift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs
  • Operate a forklift
  • Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions which may exist from time to time.
  • Work performed in an open warehouse environment with no air conditioning and minimal heating.
  • Moderate noise level.
